Trans men and women have been persecuted throughout history – mostly though ignorance. This salon aims to help put an end to the ignorance and the violence.

People get so confused about gender assignment, which is hardly surprising when you think about it. Transgender, Transgendered, Transsexual, Transvestite, Cross Dresser, Cross Dressing, Cross Dress, T girl, Femme, Trans Woman, Trans Man, MTF, FTM, Drag Queen, Drag King, Bi Gendered. There are so many terms it’s confusing for those who are Trans let alone everyone else.

A Place for Change will bring some light to the subject by honoring the Trans Community’s colorful history. This is a place for free expression and free conversation. I have created a place that is “out” and will show just how significant Trans people have been, and still are in our world.
